JKA Karate NY Shiroma Dojo hosted our annual Summer Seminar last month in New York City.  We were very honored to receive instruction from Kurihara Kazuaki Sensei. We began Thursday evening at our dojo in Queens and moved into Manhattan for the rest of the weekend.  Everyone learned a great deal from Kurihara Sensei and trained hard.  We were happy to be joined by members of the USA Shoto Cup team, happy to reconnect with some old friends and also glad to welcome new ones.  People came by plane, car, and of course subway.  And we enjoyed showing Kurihara Sensei around New York City, sharing the many sights, sounds, and tastes of New York.
