In Uganda, February 16 is a public holiday. It’s when we took this opportunity to have our first opening ceremony of our callender of the 2022. The event took place in Kampala at Laforet garden in which Okello Peter conducted the training supervised by Sensei Asana Mahmood. Emphasis was put on kizami maegeri and maegeri followed by heian katas, because they are the one on which advanced Katas are build like kanku-dai.  He also emphacised to members the philosophy of the masters which says Karate is like a boiling water, if you stop boiling it, it will cool , so if you don’t keep practicing, your Karate will be no more, reported by Sensei Asana Mahmood.
