According to environmental  management you are not supposeｄ to cut a tree unless you are going to replace it with planting two more trees as a replacement of the one you have cut. It’s same with human being. We produce children to replace the elderly one when they have retired. So it was 29 -30 August 2025 when we had a gashuku in isingiro district organized by Shotokan tiger Club of nakivale thirty children and 17 adults amounting to 47 participant.  The main agenda of the gashuku was standardization of techniques in kihon, kata and kumite, and also making correction where it was necessary and this happened in teki shodan kata, like a double head reptile which move in all direction, so teki shodan is a kata you can do in both direction so it was being done starting the movement on the left, but the correct movement starts on the right side then left side.

Referee and judge techniques were also taught to the children and they were very much excited about the flag movement. This is good for the young ones because it prepare them to be the well groomed feature JKA tournament managers. Emphasis was put on the quick movement of the flag and mentioning the names in Japanese like ma-ai distance not sufficient and yowai weak techniques and many others. Sensei asana donated the flags to the club to help them practice more.

The amazing part of the gashuku was a deaf karateka who’s techniques were marvelous and he succeeded in passing his purple belt and all the kids performed well in their grading with exception of one adult who didn’t make it.

We went through heian katas teaching the retheam and the counting according to movement in the kata. All the participants passed vote of thanks to sensei asana mahmood , the event ended by the slogan JKA one way, and one way JKA.
