The JKA Switzerland’s Easter Camp Symposium traditionally takes place in the Easter week. This year from 7th to 9th April.
Like every year in the beautiful mountain village of Mürren at 1,650 metres above sea level, this year with guest trainer Shihan Ogura from JKA HQ.
Around 170 participants came to Mürren from all over Switzerland, training was very intensive and varied.
A great training camp, in the middle of the beautiful mountains of the Jungfrau region, with high-level training sessions, led by Shihan Ogura and the instructors of the JKA Switzerland.
The participants were divided into 4 groups, with lower level, intermediate level, upper level and a group with club instructors.
Three training sessions in the morning with basic Kihon in all groups, followed by kata and basic Bunkai. In the afternoon again 3 training sessions with Kumite.
Ogura Sensei always knew how to inspire and motivate the participants, technically and didactically with high-class JKA-karate!
The atmosphere was excellent, everyone gave their best and enjoyed the training together.
Special thanks to Shihan Ogura, to all JKA-Switzerland instructors for their support and for an unforgettable, successful Easter Gasshuku with high-class JKA Karate training.
Everyone trained very hard, but also enjoyed the time outside of the training and the social get-togethers.
Almost all Gasshuku participants stayed in the same hotel, so it was possible to meet and exchange ideas in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere after the training.
We are already looking forward to the summer Gasshuku with Sensei Ogura and Sensei Kurihara, which will take place in Switzerland from 10 to 13 August 2023.
