【SPAIN】Report on 1st Andalusian JKA Karate Cup and Young Promises trophy

On June 26, the Andalusian group of JKA Spain celebrated the 1st Andalusian JKA Karate Cup and Promises trophy. The competition was held in Torredonjimeno a municipality of Jaén – Andalusia.
More than 100 athletes of different ages and genders competed in the individual modalities of JKA kata, kihon ippon kumite and shobu ippon kumite. The event was a success and demonstrated the continuous commitment of the JKA instructors in Andalusia promoting the Shotokan line of JKA Karate.

 

El pasado 26 de junio el grupo andaluz de JKA Spain celebró la 1a Copa Andalucía de Karate JKA y trofeo Promesas. La competición fue en Torredonjimeno, municipio de Jaén.
Mas de 100 atletas de diferentes edades y géneros compitieron en las modalidades individuales de JKA kata, kihon ippon kumite y shobu ippon kumite. El evento fue un éxito demostrando el compromiso continuo de los instructores de JKA en Andalucía por promover la línea Shotokan de JKA.

The Japan Karate Association is a Public Interest Incorporated Association certified by the Cabinet Office and is committed to cultivate youth with quality.
The Prime Minister Cup and the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports Cup are awarded to the national convention hosted by the Society.
