Last April 9th JKA Spain held a national course in Albacete. With the assistance of more than 50 karatekas coming from many different parts of Spain.

Due to the Covid restrictions imposed by the Japan government we were not able to celebrate our International annual course planned for last March. We had to postponed it  to October 2022. Instead, we were able to get together and trained for a whole morning with our chief Instructor Osamu Aoki.

This time, we celebrated it at Hotel Beatriz (Albacete), and half of the money raised was donated to Spanish Red Cross (SEKIJYUJI) for the Ucranian refugees. We would like to thank all the assistants for their support, as well as the Hotel Beatriz and Red Cross.

Following the morning training, in which we practiced basic kihon and katas Heian Shodan and Enpi, we all shared a convivial lunch. In the afternoon, we had a session to review the judging technique and practice.

At the end of it dan grading and qualification exams took place. All the candidates passed their examination. So we would like to congratulate the new shodan, nidan and sandan karatekas, as well as instructors and examiners.
