JKASKTESPAÑA International Seminar with Sensei Kobayashi Kunio in Getxo, Bizkaia, Spain.

Last weekend (May 30/June 1, 2025) JKASKTESPAÑA/JKANORTE organized its JKA International Karatedo Seminar with JKA/HQ instructor Kobayashi Kunio, 7th Dan of the Japan Karate Association/World Federation. More than 200 karatekas from different parts of the country and numerous foreign countries (more than 20 different nationalities) took part in this event. This is the 5th time that Sensei Kobayashi has been invited by the JKASKTESPAÑA organization to instruct in our country. This time it was held in Getxo (Bizkaia), with excellent logistics and organization by the JKA North group led by senseis Iñigo Arketa, Francisco J. Eguizabal and Ricardo García. On behalf of JKASKTESPAÑA, head instructor Fernando Rivera, president Javier Artero, Antonio Durán, Roberto Perea, Daniela Erminy, and Agustín Núñez. Three masterfully led sessions by Master Kobayashi, where the group worked with children and adults, respectively. Among other subjects, the different classes covered fundamental concepts of Kihon, basic and advanced kata (Heian, Meikyo, Nijushiho, Gojushiho Sho), and notions of basic and advanced kumite.
It is worth highlighting the high level of teaching demonstrated by the master and the dedication and passion demonstrated by the participants. We would like to thank Sensei Iker Pérez for his excellent work in translating Master Kobayashi’s numerous explanations, facilitating a comprehensive understanding. We also appreciate the assistance provided by Sensei Raimundo Richards, who came from Panama. On behalf of JKASKTESPAÑA, we once again thank all the organizing staff, participating clubs and karatekas, government institutions, and sports officials for making this magnificent event possible. JKASKTESPAÑA Seminario Internacional Sensei Kobayashi Kunio en Getxo, Bizkaia, España.

El pasado fin de semana (30 mayo/01 junio/2025) JKASKTESPAÑA/JKANORTE organizó su Seminario Internacional de Karatedo JKA con el instructor JKA/HQ Kobayashi Kunio 7º Dan de Japan Karate Association/World Federation. Tomaron parte en este evento más de 200 karatekas llegados de diferentes puntos de la geografía nacional y numerosos países extranjeros (más de 20 diferentes nacionalidades). Es la 5ª vez que el Sensei Kobayashi es invitado por la organización JKASKTESPAÑA para instruir en nuestro país. Esta vez se realizó en Getxo (Bizkaia), con excelente logística y organización por parte del grupo de JKA Norte comandado por los senseis Iñigo Arketa, Francisco J. Eguizabal y Ricardo García. Por parte de JKASKTESPAÑA, el instructor jefe Fernando Rivera, su presidente Javier Artero, Antonio Durán, Roberto Perea, Daniela Erminy y Agustín Núñez. Tres jornadas magistralmente dirigidas por el Maestro Kobayashi donde, se trabajó con grupo de niños y adultos respectivamente. Entre otras materias, las diferentes clases comprendieron conceptos fundamentales de Kihon, Katas básicos y superiores (Heian, Meikyo, Gojushiho Dai) y nociones de Kumite básico y avanzado. Cabe resaltar el gran nivel de docencia manifestado por el maestro y la entrega y pasión demostrada por los participantes. Agradecer el excelente trabajo del sensei Iker Pérez por sus labores de traducción en las numerosas explicaciones del maestro Kobayashi, facilitando enormemente su comprensión. Agradecemos también la asistencia prestada por el sensei Raimundo Richards venido desde Panamá.
