Shihan Shojiro Koyama, 9th Dan, JKA Shihankai member, passed away on 18th October 2021 at home peacefully.

Recently the great masters who sowed the seeds of JKA Karate in the world departed from this life one after another. We are now in deep grief again by Shihan Shojiro Koyama’s departure.
Shihan’s warm personality fascinated many students including us.
“Koyama Karate” he had spread will be handed down to the next generations through his disciples forever.
We promise Koyama Shihan further development of JKA Karate in the world as his wishes.
