Shihan Takaatsu Nishimura, the chief instructor of JKA Australia passed away on 11th October, 2021.

Shihan Takaatsu Nishimura, 7th Dan, Shihankai member, and International board member of JKAWF devoted himself to developing and promoting JKA Karate-do in Australia during his lifetime. Today’s prosperity of JKA Karate in Australia is the result of very his contribution. Many of JKA HQ instructors have been invited by Nishimura shihan and received his great hospitality during their visits. We cannot thank him enough.
It’s impossible to imagine the sadness and sense of loss of his family and members of JKA Australia. We feel that Japan Karate Association lost the great treasure.
