On April 21, 2020, Shihan Okazaki Teruyuki passed away at the age of 88.

He devoted himself to developing Karate-do as a JKA-HQ instructor from the early period of the JKA. Since 1961 he had been based in Philadelphia, USA and had put his heart and soul into promotion and development of Karate-do not only in USA but in the whole world.

We wish to express our most profound esteem for his distinguished services.
