Sad News -Philippe WATTIEAUX Shihan-

Shihan Philippe WATTIEAUX (JKA 7th Dan), president of JKA Belgium passed away on Sunday 27 march 2022 at aged 65 after 5 years of fighting against disease.

Mr. Philippe WATTIEAUX devoted himself to developing and promoting JKA Karate-do in Europe as well as Belgium during his lifetime. We all know his competence and good personality through the past events we met including Spring / Autumn Camps at JKA HQ and various international camps and tournaments of JKA.

Now we lost him and we cannot thank him enough.

It’s impossible to imagine the sadness and sense of loss of his family and members of JKA Belgium. We feel that Japan Karate Association lost the great treasure.

We would like to pray for the repose of his soul and offer you all our deepest condolences.
