On November 19 2023 the Judges’ and Technical Committees of the JKA Russia (RTKF) held a multi-hour judges’ seminar on the rules of kumite competitions. The seminar took place in Odintsovo city (Moscow region).

The welcoming speech was delivered by Vladislav E. Eloyan, President of the JKA Russia (RTKF), Sergey I. Strizhak, Chairman of the Technical Committee of the JKA Russia (RTKF), and Alexander N. Goncharov, Chairman of the Judges’ Committee and General Secretary of the JKA Russia (RTKF).

The judges’ seminar included theoretical and practical parts. The participants went through all stages of judging the match as timekeeper, secretary, corner judge, referee and judge. We worked much and hard for the future participation into the Funakoshi Gichin Cup 16th Karate World Championship Tournament!

Speakers of the Judges’ Committee of the JKA Russia (RTKF) are Valery V. Rogozhsky (5 DAN JKA) and Ivan A. Matyushin (4 DAN JKA).
