JKA DAN EXAM HELD BY USKO RUSSIA
May 2023, Moscow Region

In May 2023, for the first time after the Covid-19 pandemic, USKO Russia (JKA Russia) held JKA Sho Dan Exam in Vidnoye, Moscow Region. 134 candidates from 16 Regions of Russia successfully passed the Exam which lasted 6 hours and was conducted by USKO Russia Dan Grading Commission chaired by JKA Examiner Alexander LATKIN sensei.
After the Exam USKO Russia President Dr. Ilya GOULIEV sensei congratulated all its participants and wished them to always follow the Way of Budo, the JKA Karate Style, never to stop training and to improve their technique and sprit every day.

 

 

 

28th ALL-RUSSIAN JKA SHOTOKAN CHAMPIONSHIPS
May 2023, Moscow Region

After the JKA Dan Exam the 28th All-Russian JKA Shotokan Seniors Championships (18+ y.o.), the 28th All-Russian JKA Shotokan Juniors, Cadets and Children Championships (8-20 y.o.) and the 17th USKO Russia Veterans Cup (40+ y.o.) took place in the same Vidnoye Sporthall with a total of 1266 competitors (1775 Individual Entries & 184 Team Entries) and 80 Judges from 38 Regions of Russia participating. The competitions lasted 3 days, 10 hours each day on 5 tatami.

At the Championships’ Opening Ceremony USKO Russia President Dr. Ilya GOULIEV sensei said that since 1995 when USKO Russia joined the JKA World Federation it has always strictly followed the JKA Karate Style.

 

The Japan Karate Association is a Public Interest Incorporated Association certified by the Cabinet Office and is committed to cultivate youth with quality.
The Prime Minister Cup and the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports Cup are awarded to the national convention hosted by the Society.
