【RUSSIA】1st Post-Pandemic Gasshuku for the Children of the Moscow Region

The first gasshuku for the children of the Moscow Region since the COVID-19 pandemic was held in the Pokrovskoe recreation centre (Moscow Region) on October 7-9, 2022. It was dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the RTKF’s membership in the JKA.
Along with honing karate skills, the aims of the gasshuku were strengthening team spirit and instilling traditional karate values.
A wide range of kihon and kumite techniques was addressed; among the katas, emphasis was placed on the Heian series and Meikyo.
Other activities included morning exercises, picnics, outdoor games, film shows.
The gasshuku was successful. Students learned a lot and enjoyed themselves.
