On November 27, 2022 in Serpukhov town, Moscow region the Tournament and the Championship of the Russian Traditional Karate Federation were held.

On the eve of the competition the RTKF judging committee held a seminar on the JKA WF rules of the competition for the judiciary of the RTKF Championship.

The RTKF Championship brought together more than 120 athletes from different regions of the Russia; karateka from six to forty-five years old competed in. As a separate nomination in kumite, the prize “For the Will to Win” was awarded; at the end of the competition the winners were honored with diplomas, cups, and medals.

It is remarkable that the Championship took place on the tenth anniversary of the RTKF’s membership in the JKA (since 2012 year) and the 100th anniversary of Funakoshi Sensei’s transmission of karate from Okinawa to Tokyo.
