During JKA Norway’s summer Gasshuku in Bærum, participants from all over the country and international attendance,  experienced eight sessions over four days, focusing on kata, kumite, and basic techniques.
There was also a dedicated instructor training session with Okuma Sensei on Friday, allowing instructors to refine their skills.
Instructor Okuma sensei from JKA Hq and under the guidance of Norwegian instructors such as Clementsen Sensei, JKA Norway Chief Instructor, dos Santos Sensei, Pettersen Sensei, and Ingvoldstad Sensei, emphasis was placed on technique, camaraderie, and the philosophy of JKA karate.
We see clear growth in participation and our efforts in the eastern region of Norway, and this camp continues to grow year by year.
We would also like to extend our gratitude to Bærum Shotokan Karate Club for an excellent event, and to the JKA headquarters for their support in sending an instructor.
