【MONGOLIA】JKA MONGOLIA AUTUMN JOINT TRAINING

The Three branches of JKA Mongolia convened for a joint training session on Sunday, 29th October, under the guidance of Chief Instructor Giovanni Virardi and Instructors Gereltungalag and Khangai. The primary focus was detailing the JKA Kyu exam syllabus and emphasizing crucial aspects of JKA Kata and Kumite in preparation for the “2nd JKA Mongolia Karate Tournament” in December.

Approximately 110 participants attended, benefiting from comprehensive insights into JKA techniques and principles provided by Giovanni Virardi Sensei. The session placed emphasis on precision and understanding of Kihon, Kata and Kumite techniques.

The Kata training concentrated on Heian Shodan for beginners and Kanku Dai for more advanced members, while Kumite focused on Sen no Sen and particularly on Kizamitsuki.

Following the intensive training, 24 successful Kyu exams were conducted, showcasing the participants’ dedication and proficiency. This event underscored the growing interest and commitment within JKA Mongolia, pointing toward a promising future for traditional karate in Mongolia.

The Prime Minister Cup and the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports Cup are awarded to the national convention hosted by the Society.
