[REPORT] 1st ALL MALTA JKA National Championships – 15th December 2019

It is with great pride to announce that on Sunday 15th December 2019, JKA MALTA SKA held the 1st ALL MALTA JKA National Championships. This was the first JKA Tournament that has ever been held in Malta for participation of all JKA Members residing in Malta.

The championship was received with great enthusiasm by all participants who had the opportunity to compete in Kata and Kumite, Male, Female and Team Categories. A high standard of Karate was demonstrated by participants throughout the Championship and  Competitors who qualified in this championship will be representing Malta in next year’s JKA World Championships in Japan.

We would like to thank all referees and officials for their great commitment  in making this First National Championships a success. This will surely lead the way to an even bigger event for next year’s All Malta JKA National Championships which will be held for both Adults and Children.

JKA MALTA SKA would like to sincerely thank JKA Headquarters for entrusting us with the opportunity of being representatives of JKA in our country which will enable us to further promote and strengthen JKA in Malta.
