On Friday, July 24, 2026, JKA-Kurdistan Iraq successfully conducted its Dan Grading Examination under the direct supervision of the Japanese instructors and examiners from JKA HQ.

On this occasion, we would like to express our deepest gratitude and appreciation to Chubachi Sensei for his dedication and invaluable guidance throughout the examination.

Seven members of JKA-Kurdistan successfully passed their examinations and were promoted to the following Dan ranks:

• SHA FARMAN MOHAMMED – 1st Dan
• HUSSEIN ARAS STAR – 1st Dan
• AHMAD ABUBAKR KAMAL – 2nd Dan
• SAN SHWAN HUSSEIN – 2nd Dan
• RUNJ SIMKO AHMMED – 2nd Dan
• ZHIRO ABUBAKR KAMAL – 3rd Dan
• ZAMWA ABUBAKER KAMAL – 4th Dan
