From May 8 to 11, 2025, Almaty successfully hosted a training and certification seminar under the guidance of Japanese master Shiina Katsutoshi (8 Dan), a recognized world-class expert in martial arts. His professionalism, depth of knowledge and unique approach became an invaluable contribution to the development of each participant.

The seminar was attended by 60 athletes from different regions of Kazakhstan and Russia. Over the course of four days, the participants immersed themselves in intensive training, studied the intricacies of technique and philosophy, strengthened discipline and team spirit.

Particular attention was paid to certification for black belts. The results of the examination days are impressive:

• 10 athletes successfully passed the 1 Dan.
• 2 coaches confirmed their level, receiving 2 Dan.
• 1 master received a well-deserved 4 Dan.

The Certification Committee noted not only the high technical level, but also respect for traditions, sincere dedication to art and the desire for personal growth.

The seminar was held in an exceptionally professional atmosphere, filled with inspiration, respect and energy for growth. The participants left with new knowledge, self-confidence and even greater motivation to move forward.
