Karate Day in Okinawa

Karate Day in Okinawa

Let’s experience the history and culture of KARATE in Okinawa on Karate Day!

October 25th every year is “Karate Day,” established by Okinawa Prefecture. It is a special day to pass down the history and spirit of karate to the next generation in Okinawa, the roots of karate.
Karate spread worldwide from the day of the historic 1936 conference “Tōde-Karate Roundtable”, where predecessors passionately discussed its name and future.
Today, it is a martial art and sport enjoyed by people of all ages and genders around the world.
Why don’t you share the same excitement of Karate Day this year in Okinawa?
