Report of JKA INDIA’s 8th National Camp & 2nd National Championship – Goa

28th to 31st January, 2016

 

Once again it was the beautiful, lush green state of Goa for JKA INDIA … and it was Okuma Sensei again … At his best … Teaching what he is exceptionally good at … .. kumite

We are doing a lot of jyu kihon (sparring drills) and pairing up with partners to practice the same, later on went on the strength and target training. In these 3 days; especially the kids.

And the results of our hard work was seen on the day of our championship. 31st January, excellent performance was displayed by our kids and adults in their individual kata & kumite categories.

Okuma Sensei’s highly motivating and indepth explanation of various techniques and his teaching methodology are in itself master class.

I thank JKA hq for the continuous and extended support and my special gratitude to Okuma Sensei for being there for us on the path of JKA karate-do.
