【HUNGARY】Autumn Joint Camp, Hungary

【HUNGARY】Autumn Joint Camp, Hungary

We organized our 2nd Autumn Gasshuku with Naka Tatsuya Sensei this year. Participants came from Germany, Bulgaria, Romania, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Serbia, Norway, Croatia, and Hungary. 124 black belts and 80 kyu grades trained and learnt during the 3 days seminar.

From a technical point of view we got instructions on the correct execution of basic technics, emphasizing good preparation and good end position, moving the center of the body, and we also talked about how to use everything we learnt in a partner excercise. Great emphasis on rapid movements and the conditions of being able to excute them.

Also mentioned the importance of the correct stances, shifting the body weight between the different stances, finding good balance and stabil position in the one leg stances as well.

Besides the Heian katas we practiced Jion, Jitte, Chinte and Kanku sho as well as their applications (bunkai).

We applied the learnt principles in different partner excercises. Timing, distance and reaction were emphasized this year as well.

We would like to say thank you to Naka Sensei for the detailed instructions and of course to the JKA Headquarters for the support.

We attach some pictures about the trainings.
