Successful Düsseldorf Special – High-Profile Guests in Düsseldorf

From March 14th to March 16th, 2025, the Düsseldorf Special once again took place in the heart of Düsseldorf. The Dojo Yamato Düsseldorf e.V. succeeded in inviting Okuma Shihan (7th Dan) and Igarashi Sensei (4th Dan) to provide valuable insights and new techniques to the participants.

A special highlight of the event was the visit of Deputy Consul General Mitani from the Japanese Consulate, who officially opened the seminar on Saturday. Her esteemed presence not only emphasized the strong connection between Japan and the karate tradition but also strengthened the long-standing German-Japanese friendship, which holds a special significance in Düsseldorf.

Approximately 500 tickets were sold for the weekend to karate practitioners from all over Europe. Under the guidance of Okuma Shihan (7th Dan) and Igarashi Sensei (4th Dan), various aspects of Jiyu-Ippon-Kumite, Kata, and Kihon were explored and enriched with detailed explanations.

Beyond the athletic focus, intercultural exchange was also at the forefront. The event provided an excellent opportunity to share experiences and forge friendships among karate practitioners from different countries.

The board of the club extends heartfelt thanks to all participants, organizers, and the Japanese Consulate, and is already looking forward to the next Düsseldorf Special in 2027.

 

Erfolgreiches Düsseldorfer Special – Hochkarätiger Besuch in Düsseldorf

Am Wochenende 14.03.2025–16.03.2025 fand erneut das Düsseldorfer Special im Herzen von Düsseldorf statt. Das Dojo Yamato Düsseldorf e.V. konnte hierfür Okuma Shihan (7. Dan) sowie Igarashi Sensei (4. Dan) gewinnen, die den Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmern wertvolle Impulse und neue Techniken vermittelten.

Ein besonderer Höhepunkt der Veranstaltung war der Besuch der stellvertretenden Generalkonsulin Mitani vom japanischen Generalkonsulat, die den Lehrgang am Samstag feierlich eröffnete. Ihre hochgeschätzte Anwesenheit unterstrich nicht nur die enge Verbundenheit zwischen Japan und der Karate-Tradition, sondern stärkte auch die langjährige deutsch-japanische Freundschaft, die in Düsseldorf eine besondere Bedeutung hat.

Rund 500 Tickets wurden für das Wochenende an Karateka aus ganz Europa verkauft. Unter der Anleitung von Okuma Shihan (7. Dan) sowie Igarashi Sensei (4. Dan) wurden verschiedene Aspekte des Jiyu-Ippon-Kumite, Kata und Kihon vertieft und durch umfangreiche Erklärungen ergänzt.

Neben dem sportlichen Aspekt stand auch der interkulturelle Austausch im Vordergrund. Die Veranstaltung bot eine hervorragende Gelegenheit, Erfahrungen zu teilen und freundschaftliche Bande zwischen Karateka aus verschiedenen Ländern zu stärken.

Der Vorstand des Vereins bedankt sich herzlich bei allen Teilnehmenden, den Organisatoren sowie dem japanischen Generalkonsulat und freut sich bereits auf das nächste Düsseldorfer Special im Jahr 2027.

 

デュッセルドルフ・スペシャル、輝かしい成功 — 豪華ゲストを迎えて

2025年3月14日（金）〜16日（日）、デュッセルドルフの中心部で「デュッセルドルフ・スペシャル」が、今年も盛大に開催されました。主催の道場大和デュッセルドルフ（Dojo Yamato Düsseldorf e.V.）は、大隈師範（七段）および五十嵐先生（四段）を招聘し、世界各国から集った空手家たちに最高峰の技術と情熱を届けました。

今回の特別なハイライトとして、在デュッセルドルフ日本国総領事館の三谷副総領事が来場され、3月15日（土）の開会式にてご挨拶を賜りました。三谷副総領事のご臨席は、日本と空手の伝統との深い結びつきを示すとともに、デュッセルドルフを中心に育まれてきた日独友好関係のさらなる強化を象徴するものとなりました。

週末を通じて、欧州各地から集まった空手家たちに向けて約500枚のチケットが販売されました。大隈師範および五十嵐先生の指導のもと、自由一本組手、形、基本といった重要なテーマが、丁寧な解説とともに深く掘り下げられました。

また、今回のイベントではスポーツとしての研鑽に加え、異文化交流にも大きな意義が置かれました。国境を越えた交流の場として、空手家同士の友情を深める貴重な機会となりました。

最後に、主催の役員は、全ての参加者、運営スタッフ、そして在デュッセルドルフ日本国総領事館の皆さまに心より感謝の意を表するとともに、2027年に予定される次回の「デュッセルドルフ・スペシャル」を今から心待ちにしています。
