2nd JKA CHRISTMAS CAMP – PARIS Edition
 December 13th until 15th, 2019

On Friday 13th, Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th of December 2019 the JKA Christmas Camp – an international training course – took place in Paris (France).
Despite a complicated situation in France due to social strikes, the JKA Christmas Camp organizers (JKA Paris supervised by JKA/WF France) had the pleasure of welcoming karate-ka from all over France as well as from abroad. More than 15 countries worldwide were indeed represented.
As for karate, a large majority of the 280 participants were either instructors or assistant instructors but all grades benefited from the excellent teaching provided by Naka sensei whose close attention to detail and accessibility pleased everyone.
On Friday evening a private class led by Naka sensei in order to ensure that all work and teaching practices is in accordance with the JKA WF standards, but also to educate everyone in substantive work.
During the last two days, karate-ka trained in one group, studying and perfecting basics, working on kata and developing a feel for kumite which allowed each person to improve their technical level.
In addition to the excellent teaching, the Saturday evening party was another catalyst for a small group of privileged foreign instructors, providing the opportunity for each one to develop and to reinforce the existing links between JKA members from all over the world.
