【BELGIUM】Springcamp 2023 – JKA Belgium

This year we had the opportunity to organise again the springcamp with instructors from other countries. Invited instructors by Sensei Gneo, Chiefinstructor of JKA Belgiuw were Shimizu Sensei and Hakizume Sensei from JKA HQ in Tokyo. Also invited was Nilsen Sensei from JKA Denmark together with different Belgian instructors.  Bura Sensei, Chiefinstructor of JKA Europe could not be present.

Many karateka’s from France, Germany, Italy, Maroc  joint this camp and braught this camp to a higher international level.  In total 806 karateka’s entered the floor of two big sporthalls. This was over overwhelming especially because during this Springcamp no dangrading or licence grading was held and the karateka’s only came for training.

All ingredients of Karate such as Kihon, Kumite, Kata and selfdefense were studied.
Karate basics, perfection of Katas, Kime, Hip rotations everything were thourougly studied.

All participants have given the best of their courage and sweat, and this in friendly atmosphere, with great moments of  exchange of the practitioners  but also with the instructors who proved a high standard of instructions together with sense of humour.

JKA Belgium is honoured and happy to host  Mori Sensei, Taniyama Sensei and Igarashi Sensei for the Summercamp in Gent on 30th june, 1st and 2nd July.
