【PAKISTAN】BALOCHISTAN VS PUNJAB JKA KARATE CHAMPIONSHIP LAHORE 2023

Japan Karate Association Pakistan with collaboration of JKA Punjab successfully organized karate seminar, referee judge course and championship from 22nd to 23rd December, 2023 at Lahore. Players and instructors from Balochistan province and Punjab province participated in seminar and championship. The programme consist on the following segments.

First Session Training Seminar (22nd December): 1st session of training seminar held for all grades where 200 players junior and senior participated. Hussain Ali Changezi Sensei Chief Instructor JKA Pakistan conducted the training seminar. He thought Kihon waza and explain important points.

Second Session: 2nd session of training seminar divided in three groups, first group comprises of junior player’s white belt to orange belt Nasrullah Sensei conducted seminar and thought Heian katas. He explained important points of kata. Second group of players were bellow brown belt and Irfan Ali Senpai conducted the seminar. He also thought Heian katas and explained important points of kata. Third group of participants were brown and black belt players, Hussain Ali Changezi Sensei conducted the seminar and thought kihon and kata. He explained in detail about important points of kihon and kata.  He practiced Bassai Dai kata in detail and all participants were satisfied from teaching of Changezi Sensei.

Third Session (Championship): Balochistan vs Punjab (Inter Provincial) JKA Karate Championship held on 22nd December, 2022. The main aim of championship to promote JKA Ippon Shobu rules. Three teams from Punjab and one team from Balochistan participated in championship. Championship was held on following age groups. 10years, 12years, 14years, 16years, 18years, 20years and above 20years. Individual Kata and team kata competitions were also held. Players showed their skills and talent. Punjab team won championship with 6 Gold Medals and Balochistan team runner-up with 2 Gold Medals.

Fourth Session Instructor Training (23rd December): The fourth session was instructor training session and instructors keenly participated. Hussain Ali Changezi Sensei conducted a comprehensive training on Kihon and Kata. He explains every important point during kihon training. Heain Kata practiced correctly.

Fifth Session Referee & Judge Training: The fifth and last session was JKA referee and judge training. The main objective of this session to improve the standard of referee and judging skills of instructors. Changezi Sensei conducted the session and explains the important points during kumite and kata competitions.
