Conditions for participation in the 2023 Autumn Joint Training Camp

 

Regarding 2023 JKA Autumn Joint Training Camp scheduled to be held from October 12 (Thursday) to October 15 (Sunday) this year, we would like to inform you that the conditions for participation in the training camp are as follows.

 

Conditions for participation of JKA members

  1. Must be at 3rd Kyu or higher
  2. Those who have registered as a member of the JKA HQ (holders of individual membership registration)

 

The major change from the past camps is that all participants are required the membership registered with JKA HQ through the JKA/WF member countries/organizations which the participants belong to. JKA/WF member organizations are organizations listed on the “JKA WF Member Organizations” page of the JKA HQ (not subordinate organizations such as clubs or dojos). In addition, this membership will be requited for every JKA members to take part in the JKA’s international events in future.

 

Therefore, we ask the representatives of JKA/WF member countries/organizations to submit a list of all their participants of the training camp, including Dan/License exams, on the “Individual Member Registration Form” (attached). By submitting this form, we can check if the participant have individual membership or not.  In addition, the new members can be registered as well as the expired members are renewed.

Please note that all participants must let the representatives of JKA/WF member countries/organizations know to join the camp so that they list up participants on the form.

The 600 yen required for registration / renewal is paid by the member himself / herself at JKA HQ, and new members can receive their membership card during the training camp period.

As for taking Dan/License exams, the membership registration is necessary beside permission from the representatives of JKA/WF member countries/organizations, as before.

 

The Japan Karate Association is a Public Interest Incorporated Association certified by the Cabinet Office and is committed to cultivate youth with quality.
The Prime Minister Cup and the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports Cup are awarded to the national convention hosted by the Society.
