2018 JKA Spring Joint Training Camp
We are pleased to announce the 2018 Spring Instructor Camp, and hope all of you will participate in this annual event. The details are as follows:
1．Organizer: Public Interest Incorporated Association Japan Karate Association
2．Purpose: Improvement of Technique, Instruction Skill, and Judge Skill
3．Presenters: HQ Instructors
4．Contents:
A) Technique Instruction
B) Dan Examination
C) Qualifications Exam (Instructor, Judge and Examiner)
＊Exams are for JKA member only.
5．Qualifications:
①JKA Member ： 3rd Kyu and above who is 19 years-old and above (JKA valid members only)
②Not JKA Member ： 3rd Kyu and above who is 19 years-old and above （Please bring your Kyu or Dan certificates）
6．Date: April. 12th (Thu) to April. 15th (Sun), 2018

8．Participation Fee :
①JKA Member : JPY 5,500.- per class (8 classes will be held altogether)
* If you are going to take an exam, you will not be able to attend the class which will be held at the same time.
* Includes: lunch and reception
②Not JKA Member : JPY 8,000.- per class (8 classes will be held altogether)
* Includes: lunch and reception
9．Examination Fee : JPY 5,500.- (for Dan or Qualification exam. Except special Dan exam right)
＊Exams are for JKA member only.
＊Applicant for exam should attend at least one seminar.
*Please apply and pay the fee by 12:00 (Japan Time) 6th Friday April.
*Please see the Note d) about the examination and registration fee.
*The fee should be paid prior to the camp.

11. Award: 10 times participators, 20 and 30 times participators, Black belts
12. Note:
a) Only the attendances are accepted to apply the exam at this camp. If you want to take exam, you should attend at least one seminar during Camp.
b) You need to arrange your accommodations by yourselves. Please refer to the hotel list, too.
c) Please download the material for the class, handbook for the match, the same for the judge from our website and bring with you in case you take the lecture or exams.

d) If you are going to take Dan or Qualification exam, you have to pay the registration fee, too, at the application as the price list below;
*In case of fail, the registration fee will be paid back to you in yen at the camp.
e) Your current Dan or Qualification information (passed date etc) is required to write down when you apply the exam.
f) If you are going to take 6th or 7th Dan exam, you have to submit a research dissertation (about Techniques) on the exam day. Please decide it by each person about the theme of the research dissertation.
g) Your current Dan or Qualification information (passed date etc) is required to write down when you apply the exam.
h) The reception desk for seminars on Friday, April 13, 2018 is located in Bunkyo Sogo Gymnasium, JKA-HQ is closed on the day. Please come to Bunkyo Sogo Gymnasium directly, not JKA-HQ.
i) The 3rd saminar named : Judge Seminar, is not only for Judge A,B,C,D holder. It is opened to all participants.
