Important Notice Regarding the Discontinuation of the Digital Edition of “Karate-do Kata”

 

The digital edition of “Karate-do Kata,” currently distributed through the video streaming service Vimeo On Demand (VOD), will be discontinued due to the termination of Vimeo’s VOD service.
Vimeo has announced that Vimeo On Demand will be completely discontinued on November 20, 2026.
As a result, the digital edition of “Karate-do Kata” will no longer be available according to the following schedule.

 

Schedule

From September 21, 2026
-New purchases and new subscriptions will no longer be available.

September 21–November 20, 2026
-Customers who have already purchased the digital edition of “Karate-do Kata” will continue to be able to view the content on Vimeo as usual.

November 20, 2026
-Vimeo On Demand will be completely discontinued.
After the service ends, the content on VOD will be removed. Therefore, previously purchased copies of the digital edition of “Karate-do Kata” will no longer be available for viewing on Vimeo.Please note that this discontinuation is not a decision by the Japan Karate Association to terminate the service. It is a consequence of Vimeo, the distribution platform, discontinuing its Vimeo On Demand service.
