Every year kampala capital city authority KCCA organises trade show every october for its clients to exhibite their product at a reduced amount of fees, so it was sunday 12/october/2025 when kcca teamed up with islamic chamber of commerce and industries ICCIU to support the trade show at kololo air strip, it was at this juncture that Nile Shotokan Uganda JKA /WF was invited to show case their talent in Karate wish was succesful, we also took this Golden chance to explain to people why we train Karate, and the benefit derived as a result of training Karate, in uganda its where you found a person of 50 or 60 years old consoling them selves that they are too old to do any kind of exercises.but Came a big challenge when sensei asana of 60 years old perfomed 70 push ups at a go it was a big challenge as non of the public herdly perfomed 20 push up, participants where amazed by the degree of stretching perfomed by sensei asana who’s leg was pushed to the maximam until the pusher got tired, stretching is very vital because whatever you do either walking joging, or running muscles contruct so after the exercises you need to stretch to ease the tension in the body and relax the muscles, and this is one of the secret of Karate, so as a result we recieved over 100 new karatekas, whatever was in the exhibition was not new to the participant, but it was Karate which was new to the public. So the teaching was centered on how to block and how to punch, members of Karate group thanked the organiser who enabled Karate to show case their talent to the public and all it was Jka one way, one way Jka.
