JKA Spain International Course – Mijas 2025

 

From October 3rd to 5th, 2025, the city of Mijas (Málaga) hosted the JKA Spain International Course, led by Shihan Osamu Aoki, Chief Instructor of JKA Spain, and featuring two young and outstanding instructors from Japan:
* Hidemoto Kurihara Sensei, JKA 2025 World Runner-up.
* Kaishi Hakizuke Sensei, JKA 2025 World Champion.

The course gathered many practitioners from all over Spain in an atmosphere full of energy, learning, and harmony. The Japanese instructors impressed everyone with their technical excellence, humility, and friendly attitude, embodying the true spirit of the “JKA Family” that unites JKA Headquarters (Japan) and JKA Spain.

Training sessions included katas such as Gojushiho Sho, Gankaku, Meikyo, Kanku Sho, Bassai Dai, Kanku Dai, Jion, Gojushiho Dai, Tekki Shodan, and all Heian, as well as several forms of kumite (Jiyu Ippon Kumite and Jiyu Kumite).

With great generosity and wisdom, Shihan Aoki chose to step back and give space to the younger instructors, allowing them to share their energy and perspective — a gesture that reflects his humility and the essence of true leadership.

The event was a remarkable demonstration of martial spirit, respect, and unity, strengthening the bond between Japan and Spain and reminding us that we are all part of one JKA Family.

Our sincere gratitude to Kurihara Sensei, Hakizuke Sensei, and Aoki Shihan, as well as to all participants for their dedication and spirit.

Curso Internacional JKA España – Mijas 2025

Del 3 al 5 de octubre de 2025, se celebró en Mijas (Málaga) un nuevo Curso Internacional JKA España, dirigido por el Instructor Jefe, Shihan Osamu Aoki, y con la destacada participación de dos jóvenes instructores procedentes de Japón:
*   Hidemoto Kurihara Sensei, subcampeón del mundo JKA 2025.
*   Kaishi Hakizuke Sensei, campeón del mundo JKA 2025.

El curso reunió a numerosos practicantes de toda España en un ambiente de intensa energía, convivencia y unidad. Los jóvenes instructores japoneses mostraron una extraordinaria calidad técnica y una gran cercanía, destacando en todo momento el espíritu de la “Familia JKA”, que une profundamente a JKA Headquarters (Japón) con JKA España.

Durante las sesiones, se trabajaron katas como Gojushiho Sho, Gankaku, Meikyo, Kanku Sho, Bassai Dai, Kanku Dai, Jion, Gojushiho Dai, Tekki Shodan y todos los Heian, además de diferentes formas de kumite (Jiyu Ippon Kumite, Jiyu Kumite).

El Shihan Aoki, con su habitual generosidad, decidió ceder protagonismo a los jóvenes instructores para que pudieran mostrar su trabajo y transmitir su energía, demostrando una vez más su humildad y su liderazgo como verdadero maestro.

El evento fue un ejemplo de armonía, energía y espíritu marcial, reforzando los lazos entre Japón y España y recordando que todos formamos parte de una misma familia JKA.
