On 12–14 September 2025, an International Karate Technical Training Course was held in Tarnowo Podgórne near Poznań, Poland, led by two outstanding masters from Japan – Sensei Naka and Sensei Kurihara. The event was organised by Sensei Mariusz Jewdokimow, president of the Polish Japanese Karate Federation.

Approximately 230 karateka representing various clubs and European countries participated in the seminar. The sessions were divided into groups: karateka with coloured belts perfected their basic techniques, while black and brown belt holders worked on advanced exercises.
Even before the start of the training camp, on Thursday, the masters visited Przeźmierowo, where they conducted a special training session at the Samurai Karate Club. It was a unique opportunity for local competitors to meet world-class instructors.

The training course ended with examinations for DAN grades, and for instructor, judge and examiner licences for categories C and D, which was an important step in the development of many participants.

The event was not only about sport, but also about integration. The masters visited Poznań, discovering its most beautiful corners. On Saturday evening, an integration dinner was held attended by the masters and representatives of various countries, which provided an opportunity for inspiring conversations, exchange of experiences and strengthening international ties in the karate community.

The time between training sessions was filled with encounters, inspiring conversations and exchanges of reflections, which created a unique atmosphere of unity and a sense of shared passion.
Meeting Sensei Naka and Sensei Kurihara left a lasting impression and will remain in the participants’ memories for a long time. It gave everyone tremendous motivation and energy to continue working on themselves and their karate development.
