Between the 18th and 21st of July, JKA members in Malta had the exceptional opportunity to train with Igarashi Sensei, 4th Dan JKA Headquarters instructor, who conducted sessions at various dojos and led the JKA WF Malta Summer Gasshuku over the weekend.

The event was met with great enthusiasm, as both senior and junior members valued greatly this unique opportunity to learn from such an esteemed JKA Headquarters instructor. His infectious energy and positivity inspired all participants to train hard, despite the difficulty of focusing on important technical detail even in the extreme summer heat.

Junior members particularly enjoyed a friendly competition where they received valuable feedback from Igarashi Sensei. They also had the opportunity to ask him questions directly to gain insights into his training journey. An experience that will significantly enhance their own practice and will certainly remain a cherished memory.
