【BULGARIA】Spring Gassuku and 1st JKA Shotokan Karate Bulgaria Open tournament

Spring Gassuku and 1st JKA Shotokan Karate Bulgaria Open tournament was held in Kazanlak, Bulgaria from May 8 to May 12, 2024.

The training was led by sensei Kazuaki Kurihara. The seminar was attended by over 100 Bulgarian students and representatives from Hungary, Romania and Russia. The participants enjoyed Sensei Kurihara’s unique way of teaching. The event included assessment of Dan up to 4th Dan and tests for instructor, judge and examiner. On May 12, more than 230 participants demonstrated their skills at the first JKA Shotokan Karate Open Tournament.

Both events went smoothly.

We look forward to learning from Sensei Kurihara again.
