Between the 24th and 26th November 2023, JKA WF Malta held its 2nd International JKA Gasshuku this time inviting Izumiya Sensei 8th Dan, JKA Director and Instructor at JKA Headquarters in Tokyo.

There were over 120 children and adults from JKA WF Malta Dojos and also visitors from Portugal and Macedonia, who all participated together with great enthusiasm and eagerness to learn.

Training was focused on important detail pertaining to efficacy of stances, speed and generation of effective power by all body types – especially women and children – against stronger opponents.

Finally, we would like to congratulate our members who successfully passed their Dan and Qualification License examinations.

We would like to sincerely thank Izumiya Sensei for his training guidance, his positive energy and his excellent explanations and demonstrations that were an inspiration to all young children and adults present.
