After a week of intensive and sweaty dojo training – Imura Sensei and Shiina Sensei taught two training sessions a day – the Autumn Camp of the JKA Berlin began on Friday. More than 250 participants from all over Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Spain, England and Sweden came to this international event. In a friendly atmosphere, we were able to train, celebrate and exchange experiences together for three days. As always, the Sensei’s attached great importance to the correct execution of the Kihon and the transfer to free Kumite. The countless repetitions of the exercises demanded a lot from the participants and many of them surpassed themselves. In addition to the training, Imura Sensei also gave a referee training. This was a very big help and support for our work. We would like to thank Imura Sensei and Shiina Sensei again for the excellent training and their commitment and hope to welcome them back to Berlin soon.
