【UGANDA】Gashuku on Friday 17 and Saturday 18 September, 2021

When Uganda encountered the second wave of covid-19, it went through total lock-down, so all activities were closed down for almost two and half months and upon partially opening the lock-down. This is when we had our Gashuku on Friday 17 and Saturday 18 September 2021 in nakivale settlement camp Isingiro, district south of Uganda bodering Tanzania.

On the first day of the Gashuku emphasis was put on stances how to stand properly when executing techniques, differences between kiba-dachi and shiko-dachi also differences  between hachiji-dachi and suu-dachi, how to move in sasindach and neko ashidachi. The second day was for kyu grading in which 17 passed and only 2 did not make it.
