【NEW ZEALAND】 Intense training programme with Master Takenori Imura

JKA New Zealand had the privilege of inviting JKA head quarters Technical Director, Master Takenori Imura this April 2019.
This intense training programme was conducted over a period of 5 days, in Auckland in the North Island and in Ashburton and Christchurch in the South Island.
Approximately 170 Karateka’s congregated from the JKA dojo’s across New Zealand.

Imura Shihan taught the basic Heain & Tekki kata’s to the juniors and Sentai Kata’s Basai / Empi / Kanku / Jion to the senior group.
Kata training was followed by Kihon and Jiyu Kumite.

The Gasshaku was conducted at times in the pleasant environment of an indoor facility and sometimes in the bright open sunshine of the outdoors.
We the members of JKA New Zealand remain extremely proud having given the opportunity to train along side this special JKA Instructor and legend Shihan Imura.

Thanking you all,

Sensei Karl Naoroji
JKA New Zealand
