All members of JKA can join the JKA HQ Gasshuku

As a follow-up to Chairman Nakahara’s affirmation of an open-door policy regarding gasshuku at the 2007 Autumn Gasshuku, the March 7, 2009 JKA board meeting passed a binding resolution. According to that resolution, from now on all JKA-approved country, its organization, its instructors and individual members can join the JKA HQ gasshuku and the participants can take examinations for dan and various licenses. It is advised that the participants should follow the rule in their own country when registering the gasshuku, and the country or organization should not unnecessarily prohibit or prevent their participation in the gasshuku.
