Report of Imura Sensei's Seminar at the JKA WF Ecuador

The Seminar with Imura Sensei took place in Quito, Ecuador the 23rd and 24th of October of 2008. On October 25th, the II International Karate Tournament JKA WF Ecuador was conducted.

Imura Sensei arrived to Quito on October 21st. The following day we did tourism in Quito with him where he enjoyed activities ranging from eating local and Japanese food to touring the city (including the Mitad del Mundo monument). On the 23rd, the Seminar had a training class in the morning and afternoon. The same was the following day with the addition of Dan Examination at the end of the class.

The day of the tournament, Saturday, October 25th, he gave the welcoming to the participants of the event, was the Master Chief Judge and he arbitrated the finals of advanced levels.

At the tournament, there were representatives and contestants from Venezuela, Mexico, Peru, and Ecuador besides a representative from the Embassy of Japan in Quito. The impartiality and mastering of the JKA tournament rules were evident thanks to Imura Sensei and all the participants were satisfied with the results.

Once again, we would like to thank the invaluable teachings of Imura Sensei to the JKA WF Ecuador.
