JKA Diary in EnglishThe JKA is happy to announce for the first time an international version of the annual JKA diary that has hitherto been distributed only in Japan. In addition to the national holidays and scheduled events in iapan, it has national holidays and observances listed for the following English-speaking countries: United Kingdom, America, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. It is hoped that by producing this international version of the diary, the name and reputation ofthe Japan Karate Association will be promoted and enhanced throughout the world. We sincerely hope that you will show your support and encourage your students and clubs to use the diary and help spread the name of the Japan Karate Association. Printed in Japan under supervision of the JKA the new diary includes a wealth of information for ALL SHOTOKAN KARATE-KA. In particular, it is hoped to provide something of a link between JKA dojos abroad and the Honbu Dojo (headquarters) here in Tokyo, Japan. The information contained on the diary will, It is hoped, be of value to not only our affiliated members worldwide, but anyone who has an interest in the instructors and organization that first introduced the art of karate around the world.
