Approval by JKA HQ of Two Canadian National Organizations, and of Three Scottish National Organizations, on an Equal Status Basis(A) CanadaAlthough ideally it would be best to have one single JKA-approved organization per country, under certain circumstances, for the highest benefit of the JKA students, this is not feasible. Therefore, after thorough investigation and the most careful consideration, JKA HQ decided during the Autumn Gasshuku, 2007, to officially approve two (2) organizations in Canada. It is JKA HQ’s expectation that those two organizations, which have been given EQUAL STATUS, will coexist peacefully, will together host Gasshuku given by JKA HQ, will together host national championships, and will together choose contenders for the Funakoshi Gichin Cup Championships. Below is the agreement duly signed by the representatives of the two Canadian
organizations: (B) Scotland:In reference to the above Canadian agreement, please be reminded that at this year’s Spring Gasshuku, in April 2007 in Tokyo, JKA HQ gave official recognition to three (3) JKA-approved organizations in Scotland on an EQUAL STATUS basis. The pledge the three organizations signed at that time is below: |
