Would You Like to Train at the Tokyo JKA HQ Dojo?Every year, a number of members from around the world express their desire to visit Japan and train for a number of days or weeks at Tokyo JKA HQ. Those that have made the trip and spent some time with us have found the experience to be immensely rewarding. Practicing in the very heart of the JKA, they report, has been one of the great highlights of their lifetime, and has added a whole new dimen- sion to their appreciation of karate. We are always very happy to welcome you as our guest. We will give you all the advice and guidance we can dur- ing your stay, helping you for example to locate supermarkets, shopping centers, public and recreational facili- ties, medical facilities, etc. near your accommodation—assisting you in any way we can. But please be aware that there are some things we cannot do for you: 1.   We cannot provide you with any form of financial assistance, help fund your travel to or from Japan, or help with your accommodation or living expenses. Nor can we offer you lodging in the JKA HQ Dojo facilities themselves (they are legally prohibited from use as accommodation or shelter). 2.   We cannot act as a sponsor for purposes of obtaining a visa or other immigration documents; nor can we act as guarantor for short- or long-term housing rental or accommodation. (However, we will be happy to help you identify options for hotel or other accommodations in Tokyo).
